Tuscany w Love

Quanto mi piace suggerire indirizzi e posticini interessanti agli amici che mi vengono a trovare da lontano... l'intraprendenza si risveglia all'istante, attivo il cervello e creatività annessa ed ecco che i tips giusti nascono come funghi.

Un mio carissimo amico di New York mi invia, un paio di settimane fa, una e-mail chiedendomi una piccola lista di posticini locali- per intenderci ristorantini e taverne dal gusto autentico- per una brevissima visita in Toscana, in occasione del matrimonio dell'amico.

Stimolata dalla richiesta, mi sono attivata immediatamente e grazie a posti conosciuti e sperimentati personalmente ed altri suggeriti dalla cara cugina toscana, la lista che gli ho inviato è stata piuttosto apprezzata...- awesome!!!!- lui risponde.

I do love to suggest interesting places to friends who come to visit me from far away ... instantly resourcefulness wakes up, the brain and creativity active and so the right tips just springing up like mushrooms.
 

A friend of mine from New York sent me, a couple of weeks ago, an e-mail asking a short list of local places-for instance restaurants and taverns with an authentic ambience-for a short visit in Tuscany, for his friend's marriage.

Motivated by the request, I immediately turned on and thanks to known places and personally experienced and others suggested by my dear cousin from Tuscany, the list that I sent him was quite appreciated ... - awesome!! - He said.

Trasformazione ed evoluzione per la famosa cantautrice statunitense dalla voce languida, Cat Power – nome d’arte di Charlyn Marshall- che lancia il suo ultimo album dal titolo significativo: SUN.
Un disco che segna un primo passo verso una timida positività e si allontana gradualmente da quella disperazione la cui vetta è stata I Don’t Blame You ( fotografia dell’autodistruzione della rock star Kurt Cobain).

Max&Co - A new shopping experience

Piacevole sensazione di serenità e grande stupore è ciò che ho provato entrando nel nuovo flagship store Max&Co a Milano.
Progetto ed immagine completamente rinnovati per regalare al cliente una nuova esperienza di shopping: colori tenui che dominano l'ambiente, dalle strutture utilizzate per l'allestimento interno e delle vetrine, al pavimento in legno chiaro fino ad arrivare al prodotto stesso, declinato in varie tonalità color pastello.
Tre piani caratterizzati da intimi micro-ambienti, piccole aree arredate come un salotto accogliente con poltroncine, tavoli, fiori freschi e tante riviste da sfogliare.
L'obiettivo è quello di far sentire il cliente a proprio agio grazie alla meravigliosa sensazione del"sentirsi a casa" e l'atmosfera percepita, vi assicuro, è garanzia di comfort e relax.

Dietro a questo grande risultato d'immagine non un solo architetto, ma la straordinaria collaborazione di diverse figure creative, giovani talenti provenienti da diverse aree di competenza: architettura, arte, musica e giornalismo.

A pleasant feeling of serenity and astonishment is what I got entering in the new flagship store Max&Co in Milan.

Project and image completely renovated to give the customer a new shopping experience: soft colors  dominate the entire environment, from the interior and windows structures, to the light wooden floor up to the product itself, available in various pastel shades.

A store arranged over three floors characterized by intimate micro-environments, small areas furnished as a living room with chairs, tables, fresh flowers and a lot of magazines to browse.
The aim is to give the opportunity to the customer to feel at ease.

Behind the scenes of the project not just an architect, but young talents from different areas of expertise: architecture, art, music and journalism.  
This is the new trend for those who want to get involved with creative collaboration, in order to create something unique.

Imminente il concerto, attesissimo, a sostegno dei terremotati dell'Emilia.
Questo Sabato, 22 Settembre, si svolgerà il grande evento musicale Italia Loves Emilia. Al Campovolo di Reggio Emilia, dove sono attesi circa 150mila spettatori, si alterneranno sul palco alcuni dei più grandi artisti italiani che contribuiranno alla ricostruzione delle città colpite dal recente terremoto nella regione emiliana ( mi includo nella Red list).
Fra i cantanti presenti non mancheranno Ligabue, Laura Pausini, Elisa, Jovanotti, Tiziano Ferro, Negramaro e altri ancora.

Il ricavato, giusto per sottolinearlo, sarà destinato alla ricostruzione di alcune delle scuole distrutte dal terremoto dando, in questo modo, la possibilità a 140mila studenti di tornare dietro i banchi di scuola.

It's coming up the concert, long-awaited, in support of the earthquake victims of Emilia. 
This Saturday, September 22nd, will be held this event called Italy Loves Emilia. At Campovolo of Reggio Emilia, where one hundred and fifty thousand people are expected to attend, will perform some of the greatest Italian artists who contribute to the reconstruction of the cities hit by the recent earthquake in the region of Emilia (I include even myself in the Red list). There will be important singers like Ligabue, Laura Pausini, Elisa, Jovanotti, Tiziano Ferro, Negramaro and much more.

The proceeds will be used for the reconstruction of some of the schools destroyed by the earthquake giving, in this way, the possibility to 140 thousand students to get back to school.

Ho visto Shame al cinema per la prima volta e mi sono emozionata grazie alla colonna sonora, estremamente comunicativa e azzecatissima con le scene da brivido prodotte by Steve McQueen.
Io adoro questo film; scene crude, drammatiche, ma la sensibilità mi ha fatto andare oltre...

La colonna sonora è stata originariamente composta da Harry Escott, giovane compositore inglese che ha firmato recentemente film di Eran Creevy, tra cui il thriller d'azione Welcome to the Punch.


Pelle d'oca ogni volta che lo ascolto e per chi non lo avesse ancora apprezzato...

Ever since I saw Shame, for the first time, at the cinema I was excited with the soundtrack, very communicative and fits perfectly with the thrilling scenes produced by Steve McQueen. 
I do love this movie; raw scenes, dramatic, but the right feeling made ​​me go over ...

The soundtrack was originally composed by Harry Escott, a young British composer who has recently signed film by Eran Creevy: the action thriller Welcome to the Punch which was exec. produced by Ridley Scott. 
Goose bumps every time I hear it.

Uno zapping casuale in TV e mi ritrovo dopo anni a guardare, per la seconda volta, un film intramontabile: Il Postino, con un giovane Massimo Troisi, purtroppo, alla sua ultima straordinaria interpretazione.
Oltre alla regia, fortemente comunicativa delle tematiche proposte, ho trovato spiazzante e sorprendente la sensibilità insita nell'incontro e nell'amicizia tra il giovane postino innamorato, Mario Ruoppolo e il poeta, Pablo Neruda.
Empatia pura, introspezione, confronto, insegnamento e potrei aggiungere molto altro...è l'umanità ed ingenuità di uomo che vuole cambiare lo stato delle cose per arricchirsi delle metafore della vita, tanto care al poeta Neruda.

"Quando la spieghi la poesia diventa banale, meglio di ogni spiegazione è l'esperienza diretta delle emozioni che può svelare la poesia ad un animo predisposto a comprenderla." (Pablo Neruda)

Ognuno di noi dovrebbe sentire il bisogno di avvicinarsi a queste metafore per percepire i pensieri più profondi ed importanti, ma è anche vero - e qui riprendo una frase del film- che la poesia può far male... a voi l'interpretazione.

Vi invito a guardare, almeno una volta, questo film cult perchè rimane una grandissima testimonianza di Amicizia pura e un insegnamento viscerale della capacità di migliorarsi grazie alla presenza di "figure guida".

Il Postino

Constantly changing channel on TV, I find myself years later watching, for the second time, a timeless movie: Il Postino, with a young Massimo Troisi unfortunately at his last, extraordinary, performance.

In addition to the movie direction, highly communicative of the covered topics, I found unsettling and surprising the sensitivity inherent in the friendship between the young postman in love, Mario Ruoppolo and the poet, Pablo Neruda. 
Pure empathy, introspection, debate, education and much more ... Its the humanity and ingenuity of a man who wants to change the "state of things" to enrich himself of "metaphors of life", which are so dear to the poet Neruda.
 
"When you explain poetry, it becomes banal, better than any explanation is the experience of emotions that poetry can reveal to a soul prepared to understand it." (Pablo Neruda)
 
Each of us should feel the need to approach these metaphors to perceive the deepest and most important thoughts, but it is also true - I take a sentence from the movie- that poetry can hurt ... free interpretation.

I invite you to watch, at least once, this cult movie because it is a great deposition of the pure Friendship and a visceral teaching of the capacity to improve ourselves thanks to the presence of "mentors".

Alexander McQueen - Resort 2013-

Non vorrei parlare di Moda, così come viene quotidianamente comunicata, sottoforma di news of the day, dalle fashion bloggers di tutto il mondo. Vorrei, invece, concentrarmi sulle scelte emozionali che stanno dietro a decisioni importanti.
Per intenderci: solo osservando, concentrandosi sui dettagli che ci circondano, captandoli emotivamente e rielaborandoli, possiamo raggiungere quella Bellezza del "non so che" (vedi cit.iniziale) che sta alla base del moto emotivo suscitato nell'animo dello spettatore (vedi J.Rousseou).
Parlo di un processo emozionale e sensoriale che aiuta a superare l'idea di una bellezza oggettiva, apparente, naturalmente armonica e coerente. Questo processo mentale vale per Designer di moda, Cool hunter e Trendsetter che trovano, continuamente, ispirazioni attingendo dal quotidiano o da memorie passate.
Questo discorso, semplicemente, per enfatizzare e comprendere meglio la scelta, o meglio l'ispirazione, che sta alla base della nuova collezione Resort 2013 di un grande nome della moda: Alexander McQueen.

Forse quel tempo gli serviva per elaborare quel moto emotivo che lo ha aiutato a creare grandi collezioni, uniche come lo stile che ha rappresentato per anni... chissà

Oggi il nome di Alexander McQueen, dopo la morte prematura, viene associato a quello di Sarah Burton che per la collezione Resort 2013, si è ispirata ad una grande icona della scena musicale: David Bowie.
Una vera e propria invasione nello stile e nella vita di Bowie.
Uno stile anni 70 sicuramente Glam Rock, rivisitato dalla Burton, ma pur sempre scintillante e dalle forme angolari: androgino, ma con stile.
La Burton ha voluto sottolineare la geometria delle forme perfette, i pantaloni a zampa, le spalle a punta, i ricami patchwork e dettagli metallici.

Un elogio all'intramontabile Duca Bianco e allo stile scintillante anni 70.

To be clear: only observing, focusing on details that surround us, feel emotionally and reprocessing those details, we can achieve the Beauty of "do not know" (see initial quote) that is the basis of the emotional action aroused in the viewer (see J . Rousseou).

Today the name of Alexander McQueen, after his early death, is linked to that of Sarah Burton, who was inspired, for Resort 2013, by a great icon of the music scene: David Bowie.
For Burton, the costumery of the Glam Rock era, was perfect for accentuating limbs.
Burton may have invaded space in the style of Bowie, but this space was slightly more refined.
Androgynous, but with an emphasis of flair.
Burton emphasized angels, with neat geometry, bell-bottomed trousers, and most importantly shoulders tipped to perfection.

SAUVAGE and the Paleolithic Cuisine

Questo posto, che vi sto per raccontare, ritengo sia eccezionale per l'idea innovativa e curiosa che sta alla base dell'intero progetto e di chi l'ha fortemente sostenuto.
Vi sto parlando di un ristorante Paleolitico che si trova a Berlino e in sintonia con il gusto essenziale e minimale dell'arredo, non solo, ma anche dell'intero ambiente, atmosfera inclusa, offre un'esperienza sensoriale senza precedenti.
I piatti proposti, come si può già intuire, racchiudono una filosofia di vita basata sugli atichi metodi di cottura e cibi di cui si nutrivono anticamente i nostri antenati: legumi selvatici, noci, semi, ma anche tanto pesce, non di allevamento, carne da pascolo e soprattutto cereali semplici, no zuccheri raffinati e latticini.
In realtà, si combinano metodi di cottura ancestrali e scienza evolutiva con una cucina contemporanea e, in quanto tale, la si può considerare una moderna diramazione della dieta paleo. 
Figuriamoci, io che adoro tutte le cucine del mondo, senza apprezzare, realmente, la famosa piramide alimentare all'italiana, come posso resistere alla tentazione di un piatto paleo...
La curiosità è tanta.
Diventa tutto più emozionante quando si entra in un ambiente così accogliente, illuminato da semplici candele- il rimando al tema "uomo delle caverne" è sempre esplicito- e con la possibilità di ospitare non più di 40 persone. 
Prossima meta, già in calendario, sarà Berlino e ovviamente SAUVAGE... il nome è tutto un programma...can't wait!

The place I'm going to tell you about, I think it's great for the curious and innovative idea behind the whole project of those who strongly supported.I'm talking about a Paleolithic restaurant located in Berlin, a cozy place with an essential style and minimalist furnishings, that offers a sensory experience like never before.
It is an all-prehistoric Stone Age cuisine: all-organic diet of wild legumes, nuts and seeds, sustainably raised fish, grass-fed pasture-raised meat and above all, no processed  grains, dairies or sugars. 

In fact, it combines ancestral cooking methods and evolutionary science with contemporary cuisine and is as such a modern off-shoot to the paleo diet.
I do love all the world's cuisines, without really appreciating the famous Italian pyramid food so how can I resist the temptation of a paleo dish ...I have a lot of curiosity!
It becomes more exciting when you get in a such cozy room, dimly lit by candle lights, environed by sturdy stonewalls - the cave man theme is consistently worked through the interior - and it can only seat up to 40 people.
